Scientific Background

The stop solution is a 1N sulfuric acid for the stopping the action of horseradish peroxidase on the tetramethylbenzidine substrate in an ELISA and form a yellow clor product which can be read at 450 nm.

Direction for Use

• Reagent is clear to pale blue solution.
• Pipette 50-100 µl/well of the microtiter plate.
• Read optical density at 450 nm after stopping the reaction. This yellow colour is stable for 30 minutes.

• Do Not Dilute the buffer solution
• Ready to use.
