Power Reverse Transcriptase is a super thermostable reverse transcriptase derived from the Moloney murine leukemia virus (M-MLV) through genetic mutation screening. It synthesizes the first-strand cDNA at 42°C-55°C and withstands 65°C, making it ideal for high-temperature reverse transcription. The enzyme lacks RNase H activity and has high tolerance to common reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is capable of reverse transcribing RNA with complex secondary structures, synthesizing long cDNA, and constructing full-length cDNA libraries with high proportion.
