And This product contains amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other components needed for multi-type cell culture, without protein or growth factor. Serum or serum free additives should be added according to the type of cell. This product is only used for lab research, not for diagnosis and treatment. |
| Note | It is recommended to monitoring the pH of the medium. If needed, pH can be adjusted by using sterile 1N HCl or 1N NaOH. |
| Directions for Use | 1.Suspend the pouch content (13.3 g) in 900 ml of ultra-pure water or water for injection grade suitable for tissue culture with constant stirring until the powder is completely dissolved.
2.Weigh 2.2 g of sodium bicarbonate powder and add to 1 litre of medium and stir until dissolved. 3.Adjust the pH to ~0.25 (pH 7.0 to 7.4) below the desired pH using 1N HCl or 1N NaOH, since the pH tends to rise during filtration process. 4.Make up the volume to 1000 ml with water. 5.Sterilize filter through a sterile membrane filter with a porosity of 0.22Āµm, using positive pressure to avoid the loss of carbon dioxide. 6.Aseptically add sterile supplements as required and aliquot sterile medium into sterile cell culture grade bottles. 7.Store liquid medium at 2-8Ā°C till further use. |
