Principle |
This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The Microelisa stripplate providedin this kit has been pre-coated with an antigen specific to STA-IgG. Standards or samplesareadded to the appropriate Microelisa stripplate wells and combined to the specific antigen. Then a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antigen specific for STAis addedtoeachMicroelisa stripplate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The TMBsubstrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain STA-IgGandHRPconjugated STA antigen will appear blue in color and then turn yellow after the additionof thestop solution. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelengthof450 nm. The presence of STA-IgG is determined by comparing with the CUTOFFvalue |
