DESCRIPTION
Curcumin is a bright yellow chemical produced by some plants. It is the principal curcuminoid of turmeric, which is a member of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae).
APPLICATION
Curcumine, ≥94% (curcuminoid content), ≥80% (curcumin) Cas no 458-37-7- used as a complexometric indicator for boron. It reacts with boric acid to form a red-colored compound, rosocyanine.
