Introduction

Ceramic beads are suitable as homogenate media for animal and plant tissue samples. Common high-throughput tissue homogenizers such as FastPreps-24 and Tissue Lyser can use ceramic beads as grinding media. Compared to stainless steel balls, ceramic beads have more stable chemical properties and better compatibility with reagents in solution.
