Pfu DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase that has 5´→ 3´ polymerase activity and 5´ flap endonuclease activity. The enzyme also exhibits 3´→5´ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. Base misinsertions are rapidly removed by the polymerase, making it a good option for applications where high-fidelity error-free synthesis is required. Pfu products are recombinantly produced in E. coli and thus are highly pure and offer robust and reliable PCR activity.

The product includes a vial of the formulated recombinant enzyme along with 10X Pfu reaction buffer which is detergent-free and designed to be compatible with existing assay systems.
