• 1XTBS 1% Casein Blocker Solution is used as a blocking buffer in blotting techniques such as Western blotting, dot blotting, and slot blotting. It blocks non-specific protein-binding sites on membranes (PVDF or nitrocellulose), thereby reducing background noise and improving signal specificity.

The 1XTBS 1% Casein Blocker Solution is made from high-purity Tris, Sodium chloride & Casein.

Preparation Instructions

• After protein transfer, rinse the membrane briefly with 1× TBS/PBST/TBST.
• Incubate the membrane in 1× TBS with 1% casein blocker solution for 30–60 minutes,/ As per requirement, at room temperature/ 4˚C with gentle agitation.
• Discard the blocking solution and proceed with primary antibody incubation diluted in an appropriate buffer
