TBE (20X) is a highly concentrated Tris-Borate-EDTA buffer solution widely used in agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for DNA and RNA separation. It provides excellent buffering capacity, maintaining a stable pH and ionic strength, ensuring efficient migration of nucleic acids. The 20X stock solution can be diluted to 1X or 0.5X working concentrations as required.
